Dekton Orix is made by Cosentino located in Spain. It is a worn cement in which industrial aesthetics are characterized by being iron, cold and broken. Representing a dichotomy between the new and the worn, the color combination is based on different shades of grey, blue and green. This product is available in 2cm thickness and a matte finish. Standard slab size is 56″x126″.
Cleaning
Clean Dekton surfaces with a neutral cleaner or a mild liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. For stains that harden as they dry, such as food or gum, gently scrape it off the surface with a blade or putty knife and then wipe down with soap and warm water. For metal marks or stubborn items, a glass cooktop cleaner may be used.
Heat
Dekton is extremely resistant to large fluctuations in temperature, both to heat and cold. However, it is recommended to always use a trivet as heat could transfer from the hot item to the surface and could cause a burn.
Cutting
To prolong the use of your knives, always use a cutting board. Cutting directly on Dekton counterops could dull your knives.
